Centech has eliminated all of the areas which have been prone to electrical failure in older Broncos. The new fuse box holds 11 fuses instead of the original five, and it still fits right in the glove box. The kit includes a new Ford headlamp switch, dimmer switch and wiper switch You will re-use your hazard and brake switches. Extra-long wires are provided to allow you to use modified electrical equipment such as an automatic transmission with a floor-mounted shifter containing the neutral safety and back-up lamp switches.

The engine section of the harness contains special water-proof connectors which seal each wire against oil, gasoline and other liquids. These wires supply the power to your stock or aftermarket ignition system. A special harness is included to wire the charging system with a late-model external regulator. This harness uses the much improved Ford electrical terminals. Those who take their Broncos off-road will appreciate the extra sealed connectors that are provided to wire the front turn signal, parking and side lamps.

The rear harness plugs into a sealed connector located in the engine compartment. It wires the tail/side, back-up, and stop lamps. The rear harness also includes fuel sender wire for two tanks and special sealed connectors at your tail lamps.

LED ATM FUSES

Smart fuses are a great idea they have an LED that lights up if the circuit fails. The LED's are bright enough to see in the day time and at night they are bright enough to see a glow around the glove box door and bright enough to find a replacement fuse without a flashlight. The Smart fuse will replace ATM style fuses from 7.5 amp to 30 amp. The Centech wire harness uses the ATM style fuse this is the reason we have a 11 piece fuse kit, this kit will replace all of the fuse that came with the harness when it was new ***(1 X 7.5amp, 4 X 10amp, 4 x  15amp, 2 x 20 amp)

Put your mouse on the picture to the left to see what an LED fuse looks like when it is bad. It would be hard not to see which fuse is bad in the dark. We use these fuses in our Race Bronco you don't need a flashlight to replace these fuses.

Replacement fuses are available at some part stores but are about $1.50 each

NORDSKOG SPEEDO GPS UPGRADE

This is the perfect upgrade to any analog or digital NORDSKOG gauge. A GPS based speedometer is the best way to make sure you have a speedometer that is dead on with so many tire and gear changes available it is easy to have an inaccurate gauge. By just wiring in a few wires and mounting the GPS antenna you can have an accurate speedo and eliminate the speedo cable and or pulse generator. This also works great if you are running an aftermarket transfer case like the STAK.

This alternator is for the Explorer bracket systems. It is just about the same as the 3G but the mounting is different the bolts go from top to bottom because of the short depth. This alternator is not rebuilt it is a NEW unit (so their is no core charge), comes with pulley

3G ALTERNATOR 

The 3-G is the ultimate alternator with 130 amps of power. This is a great upgrade especially for the guys that are running EFI or A/C. This alternator is not rebuilt it is a NEW unit (so their is no core charge). We have 2 options V belt or Serpentine,  installing an in-line mega fuse and mount P/N 83-00011 to protect your wiring harness is a good idea.

REGULATORS

STARTER

The high torque starter is a nice up grade for your Bronco. The starter uses less power but puts out more torque then the stock starter, it also weighs half of what the stock starter weighs. The High Torque Starter weighs 8 LBS and the stock starter weighs 16 LBS. The high torque starter is smaller than the stock starter not only does it make it easer to install if you are running long tube headers but because it is smaller it doesn't get as much heat from the headers. Running any brand high torque starter will require a small amount of wiring because the starter solenoid is on the starter you will need to remove the old solenoid from the inner fender and run one wire to the starter.
