In order to Design a set of headers that would work in a Bronco, we had several things we had to have in order to build a set of headers we would be willing to sell.                                                                                 

2  To fit as many engine and transmission combinations as possible and the non modified linkages that go with them.

3  To be bolted in without removing drive shafts or motor mounts. 

4  Not to hit the frame or inner fenders and to be as far from the floor as possible.

5  Be able to remove the starter without removing the header.

We don't put O2 bungs into our headers because you need a good blend of gases to give the computer the best info. We recommend putting them in the head pipe of the exhaust about 4" after the collector.

DYNO TESTING RESULTS FOR HEADERS AND 2 INTO 1 EXHAUST

The specs. of the test Bronco: Pat's Bronco has a 351W- Mass air- EFI -GT 40 manifolds, ZF 5 speed, D20, 456 gears and 35" tires.

The first Chart: Is the results for the first three test runs so we could establish a baseline. We used an average of the three and came up with 164.2 horsepower.

The second Chart: Is after we put the headers on that is the only thing we changed. We used the same exhaust and mufflers. We were excited to see a jump in horsepower it went from 164.2 to 189.1 that is a gain of 24.9 bolt on horsepower.   

The third Chart: Is after we removed the dual exhaust and put on our new 2 into 1 exhaust and Magnaflow muffler, again we were excited to see a jump in horsepower it went from 189.1 to 201.4 that is an additional gain of 12.3 bolt on horsepower. That means by adding our headers and 2 into 1 exhaust kit it is possible to get 37.2 bolt on horsepower without changing anything on the motor. We are sure we could easily see more horsepower buy changing out the fuel injectors, throttle body and MAF but that is for another day.

Made from dead soft aluminum, to assure a good seal if their are any small imperfections in the sealing surface, when the flange bolts are tightened down the gasket forms to fit. Because they are made from aluminum they won't burn out so they can be reused. Kit comes with 6 nuts and bolts. When using BC Broncos ball flange headers these gaskets are not needed.

These Stainless Steel header bolts are a great upgrade to any header. The bolt has a small head to fit with those bigger tube headers. These header bolts are the best set up you can buy to keep your header bolts tight. We tested this new design on our Race Bronco in Baja and are proud to say we did not have to tighten them at all during the race in fact we haven't had to tighten them since we installed them. Because of the new locking flange and wedge washers the bolt locks itself without using any additional washers, clips, wire or loc-tite.

This kit is a 2 into 1 setup made from 2.5" exhaust pipe and is designed to fit the BC Broncos headers. You can buy just the pipes or the complete system with the Magnaflow muffler and exhaust hanger.

Finally, an easy and affordable way to put exhaust on your Bronco. This system can be installed in your garage in about 1 hour We designed this system to be able to be removed by making all of the connections slip joints so the system comes with muffler clamps but can welded once installed
