| DASH COLUMN COVER | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
This new billet Aluminum column cover is a great way to update the column area of the dash. You have two options one is a for a 2" aftermarket column and the other is a 2.5" for a stock type column. These covers are CNC machined and Clear anodized to keep them looking good. The two half's are located with stainless dowel pins to insure you have proper alignment when installed.

| DASH COLUMN COVER | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This column cover is a stock
reproduction plastic cover with the famous Bronco script. This two piece cover
is for the stock type 2.5" column and only comes in black.

| COLUMN MOUNT | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Made from 1/8 steel, designed to be spot-welded in 4 places once the
column is set in a comfortable position for the driver. We also went with
the oval holes for stock adjustment. We have two versions of this
bracket the 2" is for the Ididit column for a bronco with a floor shifter.
The 2 1/2" mount is for the stock Bronco column and the Ididit auto shift
column. Not for Aluminum columns.

a custom steering wheel that might obstruct your view on a standard column.

| WHAT U-JOINT AND SHAFT DO I NEED | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
When you upgrade to power steering from manual steering you need one or two u-joints to eliminate the bind in your stock column. The early column shaft goes from the nut on the steering wheel to what we call the (bell joint) that slips on the steering box. Because the power steering box is bigger, taller and longer than the stock manual box, you need to relieve the bind on the shaft and that is where the u-joint comes in. We usually cut the stock shaft about 2" after the end of the column tube and grind a "DOUBLE D" into the shaft and mount a u-joint, here you can add the optional lower shaft and lower u-joint to have all new parts from the column to the box.

| LOWER STEERING SHAFT KITS | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Tighten up, modernize and make your steering system safer with these
steering u-joints and lower steering shafts. Just let us know what
column you are using. This will tell us what length shaft and what upper
joint you will need, the only other thing we need is the diameter of the
shaft on the steering box Works great with our Ididit® tilt steering
columns.

||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| LOWER STEERING SHAFT | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Tighten up, modernize and make your steering system safer
with these lower steering shafts. Replace just the stock rag
joint or the entire lower shaft assembly. Works great with our Ididit® tilt
steering columns.

| BORGESON U-JOINTS | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| As you can see in the drawings below there are many ways to
setup your linkage from the column to the steering box. The most common
setup for the Bronco is like the first picture you see, and is the most cost
effective.

| RAG JOINT | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The rag joint is a way to keep road vibrations and driver
fatigue to a minimum by having a rubber pad between the lower shaft and the
steering wheel.
